In regard to .gov.uk domains, you must comply with the following statement:


When using your domain name, you must: – 

1.  Comply with the .gov.uk terms of use, at:

2.  Make websites accessible, see:

3.  Keep your contact details up to date, see:

4.  Renew your domain name in a timely manner, see:

5.  Take appropriate steps when you no longer need it, see:

6.  Email domainmanagement@digital.cabinet-office.gov.uk if there are any changes in how to use your domain name.


If you do not comply with the above criteria and renew your domain before it expires, it will be suspended and ultimately removed from the internet.
